Purpose of data collection
The purpose of data collection is to conduct a survey of alumni of the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences to build an alumni network and organize the first alumni meeting. The legal basis for data processing is your consent to this data collection.
Voluntary participation
Your participation in the survey is voluntary. If you decide to exit the survey before submitting it or skip individual questions, you will not incur any disadvantages. Please note that once you have submitted your responses, it will no longer be possible to delete your data retrospectively, as the data is collected anonymously and can no longer be linked to you.
Data protection and data security
The data collected in this survey will be stored anonymously and analyzed only in aggregate. The survey is designed to be data-saving. Apart from any voluntary information you provide regarding your former faculty affiliation, we do not collect or process any personal information from you (such as contact details, gender identity or age). Therefore, please avoid providing such information in the open fields. Such information will be deleted by the project staff within 7 days.
The collected data is stored on secure servers at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences. Only the academic staff involved in the project "ARCHIPEL" at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences will have access to the data for its evaluation. The summarized results derived from this data may also be used within the university to plan and organize the 2026 alumni event, its content, and the university’s further alumni activities. Raw survey data will be deleted within 30 days of project completion. There will be no further transfer of data to third parties. You can exit the survey and continue it later. You can also leave questions unanswered. To safely exit the survey and resume it later, you need to enter a unique identifier once. This will be stored separately from the dataset and deleted after you have submitted your responses.
